FEE STRUCTURE

As communicated earlier, we are moving to a flat seasonal fee (rather than monthly billing). This change ensures consistent, sustainable funding for the program.

2025–2026 Season Fees

• Tier 1 (Developmental): $665
• Tier 2 (Novice & Junior 1): $910
• Tier 3 (Junior 2, Junior Varsity, Varsity, National): $980

PAYMENT PLAN OPTION

We are introducing a more flexible payment option than previously outlined:

• A $50 registration fee per swimmer will be due at sign-up. This amount will be applied toward the swimmer’s overall seasonal fee.
• The balance will be spread across six installments with due dates outlined below:
  • October 1
  • November 1
  • December 1
  • (No payment due in January — a holiday season break)
  • February 1
  • March 1
  • April 1
• All accounts must be paid in full by April 1.

HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMER & SIBLING DISCOUNTS

If your family is eligible for either a high school swimmer discount or a sibling discount, please either go to the Y in-person or call the Y (570-784-0188) to set this up for your family. The oldest child will always pay the full amount, and the youngest child will always receive the largest discount, all others falling in line between those.

High School Discounts + Sibling Discounts CAN NOT be combined.

• High School Swimmers (20% Discount)
• 2 Child Sibling Discount (Full price for first child, 10% discount for second)
• 3 Child Sibling Discount (Full price for first child, 10% discount for second child, 15% discount for third child)
• 4 Child Sibling Discount (Full price for first child, 10% discount for second child, 15% discount for third child, 20% discount for fourth child)
• Sibling discounts are capped at 20%

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Bloomsburg Area YMCA stands on our promise of never turning anybody away due to their inability to pay. We encourage all families who are worried about the price increase to apply, even if you believe you will not qualify. WHY THE INCREASE?

The primary reason for the increased fees is that our pool rental fees have more than tripled. Additionally, we are committed to providing our coaching staff with wages that more closely reflect their time, expertise, and dedication. The adjustment ensures we are helping cover the true cost of offering swim programming at the YMCA.

COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

Even with these changes, our priorities remain the same:

• Multiple practice groups by skill level, each with its own dedicated coach
• Practices available every weekday
• Plenty of meet opportunities, always with multiple coaches on deck supporting our swimmers
• Coaches who care deeply about each swimmer's physical, emotional, and social development.
