I just wanted to send out this email to make sure we got everybody for the NEPA Summer League Meet This upcoming Wednesday and send out a little information about a meet that our friends over in Berwick are hosting the weekend after League Championships.

MEET ENTRIES

Attached to this email is the meet entry sheet for the meet on this upcoming Wednesday. If you do not see your swimmer on the sheet please email me ASAP so we can get them added to the meet. If you have any questions regarding the entries please contact myself and/or your swimmer(s) group coach.

APPLEBEES FUNDRAISER

Thank you to everyone who participating and helped us through the Applebees fundraiser! The certificates are in and we will be passing them out at practices. Your swimmer can pick them up following swim practice either at the University (Pink, White and Red Groups) or the Middle School (Black Group).

BER-VAUGHN OUTDOOR MEET

We received the following information regarding the meet at Ber-Vaughn.

DATE: Saturday, August 9th (Rain Date August 10th)

LOCATION: 6084 Park Road, Berwick, PA 18603

FACILITY OPENS: 7:30 am

WARM-UP START: 8:00 am

MEET START: 9:00 am

There will be a concession stand with hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos etc for purchase. No outside food. However, you are welcome to eat at the adjacent park. 

SPECTATOR FEE: $2 for spectators 13 and older at the door. Please bring your own chairs and tents. We have a large grassy (shaded and not shaded) yard to use.

ENTRY FEE: $15 per swimmer

We will not accept Invitational fees the day of. Please be paid prior to the event. There are no walk-ins

For this meet, we will not have any practice leading up to the meet that week, granted our final practice day is August 1st (next Friday). We encourage that if you want to sign up, please feel free to attend! The last day to sign up for the meet is July 31st.

Additionally, there is a MASTERS Meet that they are hosting that evening for any of our parents who would be interested in swimming!

I have attached the flyer for both the 18 & Under and the Masters Meet to this email. I believe, to sign up, you can scan the QR Code on the flyer and send your entry fees individually to Ber-Vaughn. If you have any questions about the meet, I will try to answer them the best I can, or at least pass the question on to someone who might have a better answer for you.
