Stefanie Williams-Moreno is one of the newest inductees as a part of the Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Stefanie, competed for the Bloomsburg Area YMCA throughout the 1990s. Throughout her time at BAY she was a force to be reckoned with. She won her first individual YMCA National Championship in the 100 Freestyle in 1994. She was only 14 years old at the time. She would continue this success throughout her time remaining picking up a total of 14 YMCA National Titles and four YMCA National Records in the process.

She also competed for Bloomsburg Area High School where she held a dual meet record of 216 wins and 0 losses. She would go on to set the state record in each individual event she swam at the PIAA State Championship Meet. In her senior year, not only did she set the State Record in the 100 Freestyle, she also set the NFHS (National) Record in the event. She walked away from Bloomsburg High School earning at least 14 All-State Honors and at least one All-American Honors.

Following her time in Bloomsburg, she went on to swim for the Georgia Bulldogs where she helped Georgia win three NCAA and SEC Title from 1998-2002. She then took some time in the coaching realm working for various programs including Bloomsburg University, Missouri, and Ohio State. After her work with those three schools, she returned back to Athens, Georgia where she is now the Head Coach for the Women's Team at the University of Georgia.
